Lesiba joined Gyro as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in 2017. His experience includes roles in property investment, development management, property transactions and transaction advisory. Prior to this, he worked for the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) as General Manager: Properties; Ernst & Young Africa as Sector Leader: Transaction Real Estate, Old Mutual Properties as Deal Originator and Asset Manager; as well as the Institute of Policy Research in Cincinnati; The Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce; and Marketing Developments, Inc. Lesiba has served as non-executive Director of several organisations including the Coca Cola Beverages SA, Mintirho Foundation, Mpumalanga Economic Growth Agency (MEGA) and the V & A Waterfront. He has served on board subcommittees including finance and investment, as well as human resources committees

Siphethe Dumeko is Gyro’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He has more than 15 years’ experience in Audit, Finance, Risk and Treasury.
He served his articles with Grant Thornton.
Before joining Gyro, Siphethe was with Business Partners Limited where he also served as CFO. He has also previously held various roles in financial services including Liberty, Standard Bank and ABSA as well as Renaissance Capital, where he was based in Moscow, Russia.
Siphethe served a term as Chairman of the Johannesburg District Association, which forms part of the Northern Region Council of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
As CFO, he is responsible for overseeing the finance function and assisting the organisation in driving the achievement of its strategic priorities.

Lerato started at Telkom in 2016. As Senior Manager HRBP within Gyro, she drives all HR related functions. She is a diversely skilled Human Resources Practitioner with over 20 years of Human Resources Generalist experience in the FMCG, Financial, Oil & Gas and Properties sectors. She worked at Unilever, Gauteng Legislature, First National Bank, and BP (South Africa). She was the founding member of Malta Resources Company. From her vast experiences in the Human Capital field, Lerato gained valuable exposure in managing challenging workforce issues and demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and HR projects.

Ben heads the Investment Management portfolio which comprises of the Mast & Towers, Asset Management, Programme Management Office, Property Development, Strategic Projects, and Technology.
Ben has extensive experience in property development, investments, and property services. He is also a seasoned finance professional that has experience in financial accounting, management accounting, tax, auditing, and corporate finance spanning a number of industries including mining and property. Prior to joining Gyro, he was both Finance Director of Thebe Property Asset Management and a joint managing partner in an unincorporated construction joint venture - Thebe GD Irons Construction Joint Venture. He is a former Financial Director of Kagiso Property Holdings which participated in various sectors of the real estate value chain. His ingress into property began as a Finance Executive at Sunflower Housing Company established by Anglo Platinum to provide housing for its employees in 2008. He was a founder member of Excellerate Facilities Management. Ben is chairman of Johannesburg Housing Company (JHC), a preeminent non-profit social housing institution.

Shamala is an admitted attorney and conveyancer in the High Court of South Africa. She has 30 years’ experience in the legal field comprising exposure to dispute resolution, property law, land rights, telecommunications law and commercial litigation. She has worked on several landmark cases during her tenure with the Telkom Group in various capacities. As an Executive: Legal services, she not only heads up the Legal Division but also provides legal support and advice on all aspects of the law across Gyro including property leasing, facilities management, property development and masts & towers portfolios. Her engagements in policy and contracts development, ensure that Gyro complies with statutory and governance matters. She is a member of Gyro’s Exco and serves on various committees.
